Dining Experience

Linda Valley Villa is proud of our food service reputation. Our kitchen personnel strive for quality meals and cater to many individual resident dietary preferences. Three delicious vegetarian meals are prepared fresh daily, with many additional dietary features, such as:

VEGETARIAN ENTREES - We pride ourselves in creating a variety of vegetarian entrees, many made from nuts, grains and soy protein.

LEGUMES - Fresh cooked beans/legumes are available as a protein.

SALAD BAR - Enjoy a large variety in which you can choose from: lettuce, beets, broccoli, carrot sticks, grated carrots, cauliflower, celery sticks, cottage cheese, cucumber, garbanzo beans, green& red bell pepper, chopped green cabbage, jicama, kidney beans, black olives, green onions, radishes, spinach, tomatoes, zucchini. Includes a variety of salad dressings, fresh lemon and olive oil.

HOMEMADE SOUPS - We specialize in making soups from scratch served at Supper.

BREAD - Varieties include: White, No Egg, Oatmeal, Rye, 7-grain, Whole Wheat, Raisin, and 9-grain.

MILK - Whole, 2%, Low Fat, Silk Soy Milk, Non fat Buttermilk, Chocolate and Mocha Mix, and Almond Milk.

NUTS - Individual portion cups of walnuts and almonds as well as wheat germ, sunflower seeds, raisins, bran and flax seed are available daily at Breakfast. Regular and no salt/no sugar peanut butter are also available.

GRANOLA - Fresh homemade granola is available daily at Breakfast along with a variety of other healthy breakfast cereals.

24-HOUR BEVERAGE BAR - A variety of caffeine-free herbal tea, hot chocolate and a variety juice is also available from the juice machine.

SPECIAL DIETS - Accommodations for diabetic, no salt and low salt diets, as well as food allergies such as dairy, soy, onions, nuts, mushrooms, wheat, red and green peppers.

HEALTHFUL LIFESTYLE - Hearty breakfast is served at 7:00 a.m. Generous lunch starts at noon and is the main meal of the day. Lighter faire supper is served at 5:00 p.m.
